I guess we'll see when Icon opens how well the British do with Blue Fire's system. I think we'll fair quite well. Sure no one eliminates faff like the Germans but we aren't far behind. besides Disney and Europa I'd say Towers is among the best.

That's my take with dark rides! Enjoy it for what it is and don't let a wrongly positioned prop ruin your day! Perhaps we're not so different after all.
 
On opening day what time will people start arriving before the park opens? Say if I was there around 9:15 ready for opening at 9:30 and went straight down to the wickerman would I still be looking at a 1 hour plus queue? :)
 
Hopefully it's policed and you don't see VIP holders going back around again and again and again and again... although I'm sure it will be abused by some pass holders.

Although I do have an opinion that V.I.P holders can be very condescending and snobby, how is that abusing it?

Surely that's the product they paid for? The same as Platinum Fastrack Holders doing the same.

It's hardly abuse if we paid for the privilege, with all the hostility VIPs get on this forum i wouldn't be surprised if people make full use out of it

thinking about it, fasttracking it would mean missing out on the ambiance and the excitement build up that queuing for 3 hours in the main queue would bring


Edit: changed my mind I will prob q with the rest of the TS meet team :p

I’m not a whole fan of the concept of the VIP pass especially if it’s unlimited FT on Wickerman on opening day. Fair enough having your one fastrack (even then I’m not a fan on opening) but not constantly running around making a mockery of regular paying guests.

Why should VIP pass holders be entitled to unlimited quicker rides just because they have more money than I do? I could only have one visit a year and only ride it once whereas they’ve got the chance of unlimited visits. Stinks really.
