Looks a lot of fun and will only get better. Thst flat turn is a killer though. Impressed with everything really, this is the standard Towers should always be setting themselves.
 
You'll only find 'rider cam' POVs online at the moment, as that's all that has been released to date. It's also the only view filmed on the preview day on Thursday :).

For us enthusiasts, yes 'boring corner' might be a bit of a killer, but as I mentioned in our review the other day, I'm sure it'll be a nice break for the younger riders.

That lift hill though... They should sell Fastrack so you can skip that! Get on at the top and save yourself 5 minutes haha. Maybe it seems longer when all you have to look at is random "Journalists" faces.

It definitely seems longer on the video than it does on the ride! And yup, today was the day for the rider POVs, they were all sent out early this morning (they were all recorded with the resort's kit)
 
The hands in the air seem very unnatural on these videos. It just doesn't seem to fit in with the speed they are going.Is it just me thinking this?

I agree with you regarding Wicker Man, entirely.

However, it's this awkward juxtaposition that we are seeing in the park: with some rides quite literally rotting and wretched while others seem glorious...

I don't really understand how after 4 months of a closed season, some areas remain less than presentable with 5 days to go till full opening...

My post was in regards to Wicker Man.

I completely agree with you in regards to the rest of the park though, it's the same across all of the Merlin parks I've been to so far this year.
Multiple ride closures on day 1 at Legoland including Viking River Splash, Pirate Falls, Duplo Valley had a few rides closed and they've made no effort to hide the awful wooden panels blocking the pathway from Lego City to Atlantis.

Chessington was pretty bad yesterday with Rattlesnake running 2 trains out of 4 on the track, someone we spoke to queued 45 minutes with only 50 people in front of them. Multiple effects on Gruffalo not working and don't even get me started on the state of Tomb Blaster now.

It's frustrating to see Merlin able to create such an incredible experience like Wicker Man, but leave the rest of the parks to rot over time, there's no effort to keep anything running correctly, but still WM keeps me optimistic about the future.
 
We already knew "boring corner" was a thing way before the press event right? Multiple Sources, including John Wardley, said that this was the case. Other than that I expect the rest of the ride to be quite good.

That being said I don't actually know as I have no intention of watching any POVs until after next Saturday.
