[2024] Thorpe Park: Hyperia - Mack Hypercoaster

It’s a shame looking at construction pictures that the lake view is so restricted, however I can’t be sure as not seen in person can anyone confuse this? As on offsider it appears just queuing fences and track supports, the missing viewing platform is a real shame Especially as they added a splash down effect.

Yet another bad example of how to complete a project.

Could have a lagging effect on reducing customer satisfaction levels if it proves to be a hideous queue in which to be trapped for a couple of hours or more in certain weathers.

The Smiler queue is oppressive, but at least it was made longer ride experience in response to customer feedback of rides being too short. What exactly does this Hyperia investment respond to?

What customer service/market research feedback doe sit respond to?

@tactic is maybe correct, but people tend to be most irritated about rides being too short and queues too long.

I have to say, as impressive as the coaster is, the area / landscaping ( so far) and theming looks really half arsed, I really don't get why they bothered to commit to the splash down when you can barely see the area. It looks like one side of the splash down is on land and not water? is the area around this getting filled with water?

I also thought the buildings are all still waiting for cladding to be installed on the black corrugated sheds but I'v realised its a design choice...

Does it need to respond to those things? It’s a great big massive new coaster. It allows the park to market themselves as having the tallest coaster in the UK. It’s going to look spectacular to people seeing it on their social media feeds.

"we’ll get you money can’t buy front of the line access to the ride itself."

Presumably you can buy Fast Track so it's not that?
It's plausible that they're not operating Fastrack on the first day, at least one shot Fastrack. If I recall correctly, Nemesis Reborn was Platinum Fastrack packages only, and prohibitively expensive. I would imagine it'll be similar for The Jack Silkcut: The Ride.

Would give them a little bit of wiggle room, especially with the deliberately vague description.

Only Hyperia room guests and those who spend over a certain amount in the shop will get Fastrack.

Pretty much, though there's a couple of other (expensive) ways of getting hyperia FT as described here:
Fastrack will be available from opening, but it’s very expensive.

One is included in the price of the Hyperia rooms

£20 add on for ultimate fastrack users/anyone staying in another themed room

Spend £100 in the shop to be able to buy up to two tickets at £20 each

I’m sure they’ll sell out regardless.
