That sort of thing suggests a problem with the design process from the onset.
Hope it opens, but either way the slowness when empty/cold/windy could be something that dogs it long term.
It’s sortable, some of the fixed fins can be removed to reduce the rate of deceleration if needed so it enters the kicker wheels faster. You can see on Voltron there are some mounting points on the final break that could have fins but they have removed them.
This sort of stuff happens on all roller coasters pretty much, Air had tons of adaptations in its first few months, Thirteen the same and Wickerman took a good few weeks to get the parking sorted.

Good news it's testing. Few stalls on the lift hill but moves after a minute or so. Let's hope all checks go well and it's gets through it's first weekend.
Out of interest. Any guesstimate as to how long does it take from just behind the saw store to get to the ride from opening?

We started waiting there on Wednesday (from 09:00), once the queue was open and the ride was going (from 10:00) we were off it by 10:30.Good news it's testing. Few stalls on the lift hill but moves after a minute or so. Let's hope all checks go well and it's gets through it's first weekend.

One thing to bear in mind with these slow test runs is that it was often empty and stopping dead at the top of the lift hill prior to dropping, so this is not “normal” conditions by any stretch. It also looked noticeably windy in some videos I saw from yesterday, which could have affected things.

I saw a photo this morning of it testing on two, so unless they’ve taken one off, I wouldn’t think so.I’ve seen online that it might be on one train - is that true?

Got my 1st ride ten mins or so before it shut. The rain went HEAVY just as we pulled the restraints down. Honestly saw nothing after the first drop
wild, insane, breathtaking.
For info joined at 9am, done by 1130ish. Staff are working hard to try and get operations going but stop start rain having impact I think.
