[2025] Project Ocean: New Forbidden Valley Flat Ride

Done the 10k run today. Was fun running under the tunnel! Definitely feels really big and the Topspin is going to look amazing up there on top.

Also, Blade was operating and quite popular…

I ran the half marathon yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to be running under the new structure!

I'm hoping (guessing) they'll replace all the bricks on the floor as at the moment under the arch is just crudely laid tarmac.

Yeh the tarmac definitely looked temporary or like a base they’ll brick over.

The black and yellow is identical to the blade, I am quite happy that it will better fit in but I am curious how much green will be involved. also I feel like it implies blade won't go (or at least wasn't intended to go) as why would they theme this new ride to match the blade
I thought that Blade removal tweet was a "hilarious" nod to the Kingda Ka stuff in the US and it was made up?

It was made up and then TPWW said there were ‘credible sources’ that it *might* be leaving.

Personally, I can’t see it going. It had a recent repaint, was operating (and popular) all weekend and is a really simple machine.

Yes, it’s old, but it’s just a couple of electric motors and tyres and a big swing.

Could have given those yellow curved bits a bit of spit and polish for the youtube celebrity couldn't they. Unless it's intentional baked-in Smiler style grime
