I have always wondered what has been Altons best Scare Maze through out their history the poll doesn't have all of them but the early ones I am more intrigued on as not many people talk abou them.

In particular Room 13, Haunting of Molly Crowe and BoilerHouse don't get mentioned much

Sub Species was very good, although I felt it was much stronger in the first half of the attraction than the second.

I love AVMT too, the attention to detail is brilliant, if they split you up, I think it would be more intense than Sub Species.

The original TOTT (2002) will always remain a personal favourite, it wasn't as polished as more recent mazes, but it just had that raw energy and was just good fun.

The subsequent TOTT 2003 probably gets my vote, however, it was VERY different to 2002, but had a much stronger theme; it balanced story / dialogue with scares the best I've seen in any maze.

What Lies Within was also a strong maze.

I never understood the love for Sanctuary but that seems to be popular with enthusiasts.

Shout outs to Field, Carnival, The Attic, and The Welcoming. All good mazes too.

Its not often Towers do weak mazes majority have been really well themed it seems. I can't speak for any mazes before 2017 that was the year I started doing the mazes like Sub Species: The End Games, Altonville Mine Tours and Welcoming have done evey maze since 2017.

But its interesting how rare Carnvial of Screams and Room 13 get a mention. Heck Carnival of Screams used Toyland Tours theme
