Coaster Poll QF4

This is just as tough as QF3. Taron is a brilliant coaster with some great airtime in places and two exhilarating launches. However it does have a couple of dead spots and the ending is poor.
Lech looks fabulous and is relentless, mixing up a number of different elements nicely.
It would be very easy to just vote for Taron because I've ridden it and because it is very good. However it could be a lot better with more variety in its layout (see Auntie Mavis). Therefore Lech Coaster gets my vote, it packs a lot in to its layout.

Taron is the perfect launch coaster with no inversions; Lech is the perfect standard chain hill looping coaster. They're both at the pinnacle of what they do, but are totally different.
With that said, Lech is my number 2 and realistically deserves this more than Taron. I fear Lech may be let down by the sheer number of people who have ridden Taron in comparison and rave about it with personal riding experience instead. Lech may look less from the POV, but it will take you by surprise in reality at how insanely good it is.
Moreover, Lech is a turning point for Vekoma and hopefully the bench mark for a greater variety of coasters that can fit in lower budget parks. I'd say it's more intense than Taron courtesy of the grey out spot, it's smoother, plus you're never likely to queue long for it due to Legendia's quiet guest figures.

Very difficult. Love Taron, it's my number 3. Not done Lech but always thought it looked great. Everyone who's been on it though seems to rave about it and I'm inclined to believe them. Taron is amazing but despite myself I'm going for Lech, we've already got Helix and Wildfire through so let's go for the dark horse of the competition.

Taron is excellent, but that's almost despite its layout rather than because of it. There are some great hills and a few really nice sequences of corners, and of course the launches are fantastic, but as a long ride that consists almost entirely of corners it feels a bit lacking in focus. I still think I'd prefer a shorter version with more defined elements and ideally 2 or 3 inversions.
I haven't been on Lech, but it looks top notch and right up my street with that blend of airtime, inversions and (apparently) face-rending force. Definitely one that's high on my must-do list.

I voted for Taron here, because as good as Lech looks, I'd say Taron looks better and seems to get higher praise. As someone who's not a huge fan of sustained positive g-force (kind of like the sort you get in Manta's pretzel loop), I worry that Lech would almost be a little too much.

The reason Taron gets higher praise is because every man and his dog has been on it, whereas only a handful have been on Lech.![]()

After some careful deliberation, and it was tough, I've decided that my vote in this round will go to Lech Coaster. Both are very good coasters but I found Lech to be more intense and better paced. As much as I like Taron it has quite a lot of meandering about and I feel it could have had a much better layout. May also be influenced by the fact I had so much hype for Taron and it kinda disappointed, where as Lech I expected to be just good, but it blew me away.
