It would be almost criminal to even so much as give OL a sympathy vote. It's done well to get this far, but Helix is the vastly superior coaster here.
 
Sorry, I had to vote Olympia, I haven't ridden Helix yet so would be unfair for me to cast a 'general opinion' vote.

Are you saying that you didn't vote for Helix purely because you haven't ridden it because that's a bit dim.

I voted Helix; I like Olympia Looping but this isn't even close.

I don't vote for anything I haven't ridden, You can't possibly claim that before riding Helix that I would definitively prefer it to OL.
 
Hardly in the spirit of the poll.

Can't see it affecting the result though, Helix is the vastly superior ride here.
 
If it's not fair to vote for Helix because you have not ridden it then it definitely is not fair to vote for Olympia Looping because you have! Where's the logic there!?

These polls work best when you cast an honest opinion on coasters and don't just vote for those you have ridden.
 
Perhaps that should be in the rules next time then as currently you can vote however you like, Would it make a difference if I said I voted the way I did because I don't like launch coasters, or I find Macks uninspiring or any other combination, that's still a biased PoV and affects results the same way as voting for a ride because it's the only one you've done. If anything it can show that rides are often more popular because they've simply been ridden by more people.
 
It would make a difference as any of those could be valid reasons to think you might not like a coaster you haven't been on as much one you have.

At the end of the day this is just a vote on an online forum... I'm sure I'll survive by casting my inappropriate vote.
 
You've probably not broken any rules, but it's quite discourteous towards the people who have spent lots of time creating this poll to be as accurate as possible.

The poll is based on which coaster people think delivers a superior ride experience, based on POVs even if you haven't ridden. It's not called the "which coaster have you ridden poll."
 
Both look great, but I'm afraid it has to be Helix for me! Although I've ridden neither...
 
The whole point of voting is that you vote for whatever choice you want to, and the reasons don't matter.

In this round I'm going for Helix despite being an Anton fan. I feel dirty, but there's no contest.
