Thought about having a rule that two coasters from one park couldn't be tied until the quarters but didn't think it would be necessary, but actually the final draw of the round is the PhantasiaLand derby...

Well this is extremely straight-forward.

Taron is possibly the best coaster in this tournament, and certainly the best of those I've ridden.

Black Mamba is an average B&M invert with some very nice theming and landscaping.

Taron win.

Black Mamba looks nice but Taron is a far superior coaster so this is easy - Taron.

If Black Mamba didn't die midway through the layout this would be a much more interesting contest...

Plus it doesn't have a sexy launch noise, so Taron...

I think it's safe to say this could be the largest victory margin of the poll when Taron inevitably romps home with the win?

If it was between the best dispatch audio sequence, Mamba would certainly win. Given that's the only edge it has over Taron however, the latter gets my vote.

I think it's a sign of how far coasters have come in the past 10 years or so that a previous winner of this poll faces the very real possibility of being eliminated by a unanimous vote.

I’ve only been on Black Mamba (8 years since my last visit!) but I always thought the ride was overrated so I have no problem giving Taron my votes.
