Coaster Poll Semi Final 2

This has been the toughest round on a personal level to vote for, both two incredibly sensational roller coasters.
Wodan is a masterclass wooden coaster; a relentless rush from start to finish that just seems to age like a fine wine.
Lech too has its relentless spots albeit not for as prolonged as its German opponent. Obviously it was never going to compete on a theming level with Wodan but of the two, Lech was the most surprising coaster on the initial first goes.
Both rides feature superb first drops. Their pacing is equally as outstanding. However, Wodan feels like it simply relies on the pacing to throw you through the elements to achieve the thrills. Lech is much more sophisticated in capturing your enjoyment, stringing together the perfect combination of high and low elements with a glass smooth ride for polish. Repeat rides on Wodan eventually require me to take a time out; a testament to its intensity. Lech on the otherhand was consecutively enjoyed at times without leaving the seat for over three laps before moving to another.
I bloody love Wodan, I really do. It's a joy to ride on each and every EP visit and is supported by a grand line up of other superb attractions in the park.
Despite this however, my vote is going to go to the most remarkable surprise I've yet experienced on any roller coaster. A lone, dark horse that stands nobly on the side of a lake in Chorzów. The coaster that has beat off some staggering competition in this poll already and has come much further than the very hyper coaster we went to ride, bringing us into contact in the first place.

Lech looks like a great. fast-paced layout but Wodan is, overall, the package I look for in a quality coaster.
It is the best GCI I have been on, one of the best themed coasters in Europe, has superb operations and is unrelenting in its intensity. It's a rare 'all-rounder'.
Wodan it is.

This is a lot closer than I would have ever imagined, but for me it's very simple. Wodan, no questions asked!
From beginning to end it is stunning. Lech has done incredibly well to get this far, however the 131ft Masterpiece sat in Rust has got this!

Really difficult. Wodan is, like Helix, as much a work of art as it is a ride. It does everything and does it all so well. Lech looks amazing, it might not be the experience that Wodan is but it it's strong enough to make me really have to think about this. Might just repeat what I did last round and vote Lech to keep it interesting.

Wodan is an immense coaster which has grown on me a lot since my first ride. It's one of the most relentlessly intense coasters out there, with no dead spots.
BUT it lacks any airtime, and for me the best coaster in Europe needs to offer some decent airtime.
Lech looks very good, and the key thing is that everyone who rides it seems to love it with no exceptions. I think if it had lap restraints it would be an easy vote for me, I much prefer a coaster with upper body freedom.
Summary: no idea tbh.

Wodan hat a few spots of floater airtime und some very short airtime "kicks". You sound like your`re missing ejector airtime...

Yeah perhaps I was a bit harsh, there are some small "kicks" dotted around. I wouldn't say theres any real floater though.Wodan hat a few spots of floater airtime und some very short airtime "kicks". You sound like your`re missing ejector airtime...
It's still an excellent coaster and it's clearly not designed for airtime.
