I feel like its a well known franchise but doesn’t really have that much of an actual fanbase to warrant the likely massive cost.

Very expensive and to do it justice, it needs to include a thrill launch coaster with inversions of some sort

Based on the layout, I've always thought the Blue Fire layout suits a Sonic coaster well as it translates well to a Sonic level layout. Not because the original coaster was blue!
