Thing is that it's not been officially confirmed as to who our act is, even though it's an open secret, and has been for some time.

Actually a pretty good entry! I hope it goes far!

Unfortunately, at the moment it’s being overshadowed by the “Kant” drama - for those unaware, Malta’s entry (after already being approved by the EBU a month ago) has very suddenly been revoked. The EBU are not stating the reason why, or revealing which broadcaster complained, but it is heavily alleged by various Maltese news outlets that it has came from the BBC on the advice of Ofcom.

Oh dear.

Yep apparently the Maltese pronunciation of "Kant" sounds very similar to a certain English swear word...

Oops.
 
I've seen people campaigning online for the UK entry song to be revoked for the word 'hell' (in reaction to the kant drama).

But hey, what's Eurovision without a bit of drama and controversy!
 
Soon as I heard the Maltese entry I knew it would be incredibly awkward for our dear friends at the BBC to talk about.

Hope she gets to sing it uncensored.
 
TBH, after last year's fiasco, I'm amazed anyone still touches EV with a barge poll. Wogan had the right idea. Walk away. Don't give the EBU the satisfaction of your anger.
