Marvel's Amusement Park Scarborough

Anyone ever go to Marvel's Amusements in Scarborough before it shut? Not a lot of footage from there but I finally had this VHS from 1999 converted today.

I definately went on the cablecar in the 1980s.
Scarborough had so much going on, the Spa area, bucket & spade beach, theatres, fishing port castle, amusements, model battleship wars, the lido, Marvel's and the steam train...
A week was never enough to do it all.

The park closed in 2002 when Disney got the rights to transfer it to Orlando but the feud with Universal IOA is still on going.

I went a few times in the early 1990s. I don't remember it being anything special, it always felt pretty tired.

Scarborough was a great resort back in the day, now it feels somewhat empty, like Rhyl or Morecambe.
