"Merlin's Best Coaster?"

These videos have recently appeared on the Merlin Backstage YouTube channel, each featuring a different coaster and a park employee.









No doubt there are more to come, but which do you agree with?

Was just going to say, isn’t Swarm the only Merlin created ride currently uploaded...

Surprised she didn’t say Walking Dead The Ride especially after stating it’s the worlds scariest ride

The park did yeah, but that was nothing to do with Merlin.

Created by Tussauds, but Tussauds became part of Merlin so they can still take credit for them if you want to be pedantic

Well, Nemesis gets my vote. Obviously.

I'm not gonna say anything that was built before 2008. I say objectively best is Smiler, but I prefer Swarm and Wicker Man.

The Swarm backwards was rubbish. They basically removed the best seats of the train just for a marketing gimmick. I was glad when they put it back the right way, although Swarm isn't on my list of top coasters even at a Merlin park.

Total opposite for me, backwards turned a meh coaster into something interesting. Swarm is something our group only bother with if the wait is less than 25mins.

Malcom is wasted at Merlin, we have our winner for enthusiasm though

Going to have to say Oblivion, its still intimidating to this day and the rush you get from that drop....

Wicker Man is the best coaster delivered under Merlin ownership, IMO.

I don't do rankings and the like but I'd be hard pressed to pick between Wicker Man, Raptor or Swarm if limited to Metlin created rides.

For me it has to be Wicker Man, but I’d put The Smiler in second.
