Hi I was planning on going to Alton towers on 31st March but have realised it's mother's day. How busy is it likely to be? Was thinking it would either be pretty quiet with people going out for meals and stuff or rammed if lots of mum's wanted to go Alton towers as their day out. Thanks

Mothers Day

How long is a piece of string? Sunday should be quieter than Saturday, but you can never tell when people are going to visit. It will all be down to the weather as well as what people decided to do. I've visited places on two consecutive days before now during off peak and despite the weather being similar on both days, gate numbers can be surprisingly at opposite ends.
