Well what a weekend we have just had!
Went to AT on the Thursday and had an ok day. Far too busy for my liking but still managed to get on the smiler. I really enjoyed the ride. Good fun and lots too it. There are a couple of rough bits but I enjoyed it and I am looking forward to going on it again.
It was an ok day considering the crowds.
Thursday night we stayed at a Premier inn at Bedford south. Had a little problem finding it but got there in the end. It has only been open 3 months and its awesome! So much space. The rooms are lovely and the showers are brilliant. A rain shower head and then a normal movable shower head! Loved it.
Friday we drove to London and met up with a friend of our and headed to Heathrow to watch some plane land. Got a video of the A380 landing

Went for a meal in China town which was awesome! Really nice.
Then we headed back to the premier inn at Olympia. Saturday morning was the first day of our trip to London Film and TV comic con.
We got there at about 8:30 and there was a massssssssssssssssssssssssssssssive queue for the early bird ticket entry. But once the queue opened at 9am it moved quickly. (much quicker than any theme park queue
)
The Saturday was our first ever visit to a comic con and our first ever cosplay! We did not get too many strange looks when walking to the con from our hotel.
Once we got in the hall we went off and got some virtual queue tickets for some celebs that we wanted autographs off. Because of a cancellation I had to swap a photo shoot ticket with Nicole Deboer and I chose a photo with Kristanna Loken.
We had time to wonder around and check out the hall. There was already some amazing people in costume. I saw an amazing Batman whilst in the queue but never saw him inside
We did get asked to pose for a few photos during the day which was really nice. It was great that people liked our costumes and wanted a photo of us!
I will post some pics of some of the my favourite cosplayers. The rest of the pics are on my facebook.
There are a lot of photos I have attached!
Carla and myself as Chuck and Sarah from the TV show Chuck
Some really good Banes there over the weekend
Me meeting Jennifer Calvert. She was really lovely. Really chatty and friendly. We talked about her time on Spatz and Carla got this photo for me.
Someones homemade Iron man costume! Took him over 2 months to build!
Just amazing, the costume was amazingly good and she looks so much like Anne Hatahway I did a double take. But the poor woman was rather hot in all that leather. I could feel the heat when I put my arm around her.
These two girls were great, amazing costume. So much detail on it.
On the Sunday we did not dress up. A few shots from Sunday.
Both days were very good. The queues were not too bad. Still had to wait for photos and autographs but the queues are well managed. Sunday was much more laid back and nowhere near as busy as Saturday.
Some of the celebs were really nice. I got a photo and an autograph off Alexander Siddig. He was really nice and chatty. Gave off the feeling that he was really enjoying being there and really liked meeting people. Jennifer Calvert was really great to meet!
The only thing I am slightly disappointed with is the fact that I had my camera set up with a small f number but I did not get the blurred background that I was hoping for. Not sure if it was partly the lighting or I was standing too close or too far back. But the photos are in focus and the colours looked good with the flash on under that lighting.
I think there is a good chance we will be going to another LFCC because it was so much fun and I loved the cosplay aspect. Just got to try and think of a different person for next time.....
