The other day I was talking to a friend of mine and as usual with my conversations the subject got onto Towers. He happened to mention that back in 1988 he had won a competition in the company's internal newsletter to win tickets to Towers. All he had to do was estimate the number of parking spaces in the newly created carpark. The link to the company at the time was that it was a sister company who supplied the tarmac. The next day gave me the articles and the letter he received from Towers along with the park ticket and the log flume photo ticket (the one you had to grab from an attendant in a shed at the top of the final lift hill). Here they are below (names blanked out). And even after the article was published about the winners, he still doesn't know how many spaces there were as they never said!
