Following on from the second tier parks thread, what do you see as the hierarchy of UK parks?

My rough order isn’t exact, they could switch around a bit.
1. Alton Towers
2. Thorpe Park
3. Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Legoland Windsor
4. Paulton Park
5. Drayton Manor (was higher)
6. Chessington WoA
7. Flamingoland
8. Adventure Island

Forgot about Legoland so edited to add it.. Not sure it’s that much better than Paulton, but I’ve not been to Paulton!

Ohh it's been a while since we had a ranking thread.

Towers
Legoland Windsor
Thorpe
BPB
Fantasy Island
Drayton
Adventure Island
Chessington

About as many as I can remember/ be bothered to rank.

I probably need to have a proper sit down and think about my park rankings again, but my current ranking of the UK parks I've done (10 in total) is:
  1. Alton Towers
  2. Blackpool Pleasure Beach
  3. Thorpe Park
  4. Paultons Park
  5. Legoland Windsor
  6. Drayton Manor
  7. Oakwood
  8. Chessington World of Adventures
  9. West Midlands Safari Park
  10. South Pier Blackpool

1: Alton Towers
2: Thorpe Park
3: Paultons Park
4: Legoland Windsor
5: Drayton Manor
6: Chessington

I’m just going to do a top ten myself to save me trying to jog my memory of all the parks I forget about…
1-Alton Towers
2-Thorpe Park
3-Blackpool Pleasure Beach
4-Drayton Manor
5-Paultons Park
6-Chessington
7-Legoland Windsor
8-Flamingo Land
9-Oakwood
10-Adventure Island

Only ones I've been to within the last few years so can have a vaguely relevant opinion on...

1 Paultons
2 Alton Towers
3 Legoland
4 Pleasure Beach
5 Thorpe Park
6 Adventure Island
= Chessington

The offering is so different between some of these it is kind of meaningless making a comparison, but my ranking considers not only the hardware a place has but also what they do with it. Paultons is the gold standard of how to run a themepark in the UK, and their hardware is catching up others fast.

The top ten parks I've visited so far are probably as follows:

1. Alton Towers
2. Paulton's Park
3. Thorpe Park
4. Drayton Manor
5. Blackpool Pleasure Beach
6. Legoland
7. Adventure Island
8. Fantasy Island
9. Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach
10. Botton's Pleasure Beach

I've not been to Chessington yet so it's obviously not listed, and Drayton could well go up next year if their new coaster is good. Mingo misses out due to the shocking visit I had back in the summer (which I never got round to writing a report about as I just wanted to forget about it).
