2016 - Thriller - Planned - (10/23/13) Thriller… the legendary Schwarzkopf globe-trotting traveling coaster will return home it seems. According to this article Thriller has been purchased from the San Marco National Fairground site in Mexco (where it was renamed Tsunami) and is expected to be refurbished and reopend in Germany’s Skyline Park for the 2016 season.

Brilliant news for any European Schwarzkopf fans! This park are going from strength to strength, already having a Maurer SkyLoop and the Whirlwind from Camelot. This'll be their sixth coaster - not to be sniffed at.

I'm correct in saying that this was Taz Tornado at Six Flags Astroworld right? It looks amazing.

It's wishful thinking but it would be brilliant if they re-lowered the first drop during the refit so that it's as forceful as it should be. You can see in that image where Premier have re-routed it by the kink half way down the first drop and the tacked-on supports. This is how it should look:

Whilst I do believe that it belongs on the fair circuit, it's great that the most legendary of the Schwarzkopf travelling coasters is returning to Germany.

Keep in mind : It went down from 6,5 G to 6 G...which means that this coaster is still INCREDIBLY forceful ! ;)
