If you're attending the meet and planning to dress up, please let us know! There may be some people who want to wear a costume but aren't sure based on whether they'd be the only ones.

Personally I'd say it's a serious consideration for me, it just depends if I can adequately ruin clothing I already have :p

It's my first Scarefest and as such I will be dressing up =) I'm dressing as Finn from Adventure Time, because you know, I like Adventure time! =P

Here's a picture of Finn in case anyone doesn't know what he looks like

Yeah it's a bit of a simplistic costume but hey, I want to go as him =)

(sazz you always ruin clothing all you need to do is wear them)
*come on you left it wide open :) *

I don't plan to wear a costume but I do plan to facepaint and either wear a wig or spray dye my hair! I won't be letting on whom I will emulate though, other than she's quite a well known Disney character.

:)

All being well I will be dressing up. For me it is always the highlight of the meet! I should be ordering my costume over the next couple of days!

:)

I'll be dressing up for the first time. :)
Started it last week and I'm making/putting it together on a veeeerryy slim budget, but it's keeping me occupied.

Is anybody staying on Resort kind enough to allow me to dump my stuff and get ready in their room for 5 minutes, please? I'll buy you a drink!

I probably won't be dressing up due to finances but I am available for all sorts of makeup challenges for a small fee, just pm or FB men's fe me for help.

Undecided on whether I will be dressing up, even though I do want to aha. :p

I think I'll probably dress up, for the giggle of it, not got a clear idea of a costume yet though, will have a really good think though :)

After much thinking, I don't believe I will have enough time to purchase and test the character facepaint/hair changes before Scarefest actually happens. Boo.

However, it is looking far more likely that I'll wear my pyjamas and dressing gown plus towel slung over my shoulder with a chance I'll get away as Arthur Dent. Or at least the female equivalent of a disgruntled human being who just wants a cup of tea regardless of interstellar space travel.

Got a simple costume for this year all sorted now! :) Bring on next weekend.

I ordered my costume the other day and it should be arriving tomorrow or Tuesday. I am rather looking forward to it, it's rather different shall we say! ;)

:)

How many people are wearing a costume, compared to not wearing one? And does anyone have an idea for a costume for a slightly bigger girl, that doesn't require heels?

There aren't really any rules as what you can and cannot go as. I would recommend dressing up, but don't feel pressured into doing too much. Its all about having fun!
