What was the Tussauds era at Alton Towers and the other UK parks actually like?

    Air was never steampunk. It was floaty, flying sky type theme.

    Black Hole had a Jules Verne Steam Punk theme on the inside, but matched Oblivion on the outside. I think they did the interior of Black Hole at one point to match the planned Oblivion theme but then changed direction.

    Should’ve been clearer in my post above - didn’t Air have a steampunk theme planned for it in the early planning stages?

    Yes it did - they explored this type of theme a few times but never executed it

    what interests me the most is that AT have always steered away front your traditional themes - Roman, Greek, Egyptian etc

    Guess that’s what makes that park unique
