Why does mack rides have a marketing team?

I saw on LinkedIn that mack rides have a marketing team! Surely they are already well known enough by theme park owners and management without a marketing team!!

Virtually every company has a marketing department, to manage publicity.

I think the answer to this question has been given in the above two posts Pretty much every business will have some sort of marketing team as marketing is key to the success of any business. Not sure there is much else to discuss here so I am going to lock this thread.
