There’s certainly no way it’s only 44mph when it’s warmed up. Feels faster than Nemesis and smiler to meAnother confirmation that Wickerman is absolutely HAULING at the moment! Saturday was my favourite experience on it so far; simply flying around that track!
How did they slow Runaway Mine Train down, out of interest?Let's just hope they don't slow it down on purpose like they did with the Mine Train.
Think you answered your own question hereHow did they slow Runaway Mine Train down, out of interest?
I imagine that slowing Wicker Man down would be a bit harder than slowing down Runaway Mine Train, though, as that is a powered coaster and has a degree of controllability in terms of its speed.
Aren't millennium flyer trains like most woodie trains. . . They have metal wheels. . ?They can swap the wheels for softer or harder compounds to tweak the speed.
I was gutted when the log flume went but it was a fantastic decision to put WM in there. (I'd have rather had a bigger version in place of the rapids and have kept the flumes but hey ho.).
It's crazy to think that Wickerman essentially sits on what was The Flume's station and queue line, with most of the layout (of what was once the world's longest log flume) unbuilt on.I’d like to see a further addition in the area though.
