The tunnel at the end was just a dark tunnel last weekend.
it definitely needed something like what you describe to round off the ride.
 
On 2 trains, the effect in the tunnel was a fantastic finale on opening day. Now that it stacks every time, its just a dark tunnel with music and a couple of lights. They should just remove a train since despatches are so slow anyway.

With regards to the moving head lighting in the station above the cars has the plan always been for these to be “static” it’s quite some expensive equiptment just to have these static surely there would have been alternative lighting methods. So again this has me wondering if there were any other original purposes for these lighting?
 
On Sunday the dispatch times were loads better which made the 3rd train effective, it still had to was for the the train behind the station to move but on one go we waited like 5 seconds, I don’t think the train could of made it round the corner and come to a complete stop in that time.

It depends what they are projecting. If it's a "fire" effect using counter rotating gobos and prisms, then it may well have been cheaper to buy a moving head than to buy and fit those mechanisms to a "conventional" profile spot.
 
I can exclusively reveal that the reason why The fire effects have been blowing hot then cold is because it isn’t actually Wickerman at all. It is Wickerwoman! *runs away giggling and puts thumb on nose and waves it at the angry mob*

Wasn't it late opening last Thursday?

Either the ride doesn't like the Wednesday down day or they tinker with things a bit and it causes problems for the day after.

It's a shame as on Tuesday it put in a really good day.
