The Sheet Music Thread

Forgot to say, if you have any requests then I'd be happy to hear them! Looking for some new stuff to transcribe now, ran out of AT themes to cover ;)

Nemesis next! A sneak preview :p

Wow. Legend!
Could you make a short walkthrough/ tutorial of the Hex theme? I play keyboard, had my grade 1 a few months ago, and I cant read music that well, its my mission! Learning the hex theme would certainly be a few weeks work, doing it part by part, but I normally play by watching, or by ear, so , doing it a bit slower would really help :)
I'm actually noteing down the duel theme right now, if I finish I'll make a video response :D

I was considering doing a tutorial as quite a few people on here/YT comments have requested it - might try it within the next couple of weeks now I'm free for a while. Also, the Hex theme is actually pretty hard - especially for Grade 1 standard! Granted the start isn't too difficult but the scale at the end is pretty tough to master, especially as it's basically all on the black keys.

This reminded me that I still have to find the power cable to my old keyboard so I can attempt to play Vampire's organ theme! :p

Some fantastic work on here guys, and yet more evidence of the great talent on this site! :)

Right. Here it is, my transcription of "Composers Reflections" from Europa Park.

It's still gonna be cleaned up a little, but this is more or less 98% right. All done by ear, so if you do see any imperfections, my apologies, but I've got a pretty good ear for pitch. (There may be some doubles with notes, I tend to do that, I shall be tidying that up soon though)

and this link is the midi. (not the same as the original but ya know.)

I've not done dynamics yet, or written much with performance marks, but I'm hoping if you want to play this you know it already so you can adjust accordingly.

Enjoy! Any comments welcome!

My performance! ;)

Having made various remixes of Alton Towers soundtracks myself, I might be able to give a little help/extra pieces - I can only just do regular notation though - I mostly do TAB for guitarists. Not sure how useful that would be for anyone.

EDIT: Ok, ignore me. Thanks for your consideration.

This is brilliant! My university orchestra are always looking for unique pieces to play , and I feel like this could fit the bill - any chance you could update us when you're finished ? :)

Really?! Well, I kind of gave up on this...but I definitely could finish it if there was a chance of it being performed :p

Just wandered into this thread cos it was unread on Tapatalk and I've never really looked...

Just wanted to say that the Hex thing - wow! I hit play and it sounds spot on... Serious talent to note all that down from listening to it :)

You guys are so talented, I can't transcribe, but I can give a good go at reading sheet music. I flopped GCSE Music, but out of all the things I half assedly learned, I can remember how to read sheet music.
Al, I'm not sure what kind of music you're in to, but I have found there are a lot of obscure songs without tabs or sheet music. So many songs that would be amazing on piano!
But yeah, you guys. Seriously. Just find that so amazing

Can I request The Flume?

Thanks, really love the soundtrack, so if you could, that'd be amazing!

Here's Soarin's theme by Jerry Goldsmith (used for the Soarin' rides at Epcot and DCA) :)
