The Sheet Music Thread

Damn, I want to be a proper part of this thread so bad.

Would a California Screamin' soundtrack tab (and maybe video) (most of it anyway, can't quite figure out the solos :p) appeal to anyone?

I think it's about time to resurrect this topic, don't you!

I had the theme from Carnaval Festival at Efteling stuck in my head all day, so I've just had a quick google for the sheet music, and I've found a selection of music from Efteling attractions as a B-flat trumpet solo. It's unfinished and the tempos/dynamics need adding in, but apart from that the music is fairly accurate! It's also pretty easy to work out a suitable ending, but that's for another post!

This score includes:
  • Carnaval Festival
  • Fata Morgana
  • De Toverfluit
  • Minuet
  • Villa Volta
  • De Vliegende Hollander
And I shall tag @Alastair in here...

:)

Haha, I love how all the dynamics are fff. The trumpet player is going to be tiring after even half of that at top volume ;)

Absolutely! I'm having a mess around with the tempos and endings, and I'll post a link on here when it's done. :)

I found a full piano score for Die Vliegende Hollander and have been learning to play it at my piano lessons.

Here is the score!

Resurrecting this incredibly old thread to post a brand new video/arrangement of Wicker Man's theme. Short but sweet!

Link to the sheet music is in the video description if anyone fancies having a go :)

Nice work Alastair! And thanks for reviving this thread...

I found these the other day.

Nemesis next! A sneak preview :p

I know it's been years but any chance u could share this? I've been looking for something to learn and with nemesis's comeback I thought this would be great.

Unfortunately I don't think I ever did any more on it than what's in that screenshot. I think for Nemesis, I realised that that was the main motif and the majority of the impact of it came from the "atmospheric" segments - so I wrote it off. Sorry to disappoint!

I have to say also that I do admire the nearly decade long quote gap, and that it does make me feel very old 😭

Thank you anyway, I'm still learning how to read short music tho, anything I should know? And does anyone know how to read it fast 😭
