Favourite Place To Sit

I love to sit on the steps in front of oblivions drop and watch people going up and their face at the top and the sound when it drops. I also (used to) like to sit on the rocks in front of the smiler and watch it go round. But if I want a wee bit of peace for 5 mins I'll just take the skyride the only problem being the stupid audio and some of the idiots that use it!

I do love sitting at the end of towers street - just people watching and soaking up the atmosphere. That's if I can find a flat enough rock, pointy rocks are not kind on the rear end.

Sitting and watching ripsaw on a sunny day is also nice

you can sit and relax on oblivion if their only loading one row. It takes about an hour. They should put a snack stand in on the break run!

At the hotels sitting in the Alton Towers Hotel garden it's great, especially on a sunny day. To think how awful the outdoor area is at splash!

In the theme park the bottom of towers street is nice watching the world go by. Of course the gardens are always very nice to relax in.

I quite enjoyed sitting in the deck chairs on the "beach" they had once at the end of the day looking at the towers.

However, my fave place to sit, as the photo above, at the back of ATH with a cold beer in the sunshine
