Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion

That is one of the huge problems with a place like Pleasure Beach trying to become a destination in its self. I agree they are aiming to become somewhere where Blackpool may not quite be at as present. It was always fun just popping in with spare tickets and enjoying a ride or two (when I have been there for a long weekend).

What they need to do is really concentrate on making themselves a destination with constant infestment in all areas. Get back on a roll with innovation etc. At least it would make more people want to keep coming back to the place and make the entry charge worth it.

For your additional amusement,
the rat (deceased) was just by the ride entrance by the Tunnel of Love sign,
on the left hand side,
for the major part of the 2013 season.
Made my day every time I saw it hadn't been cleared up.
Easily pleased.
God bless you all,
especially the Canaries,
as they need all the help they can get,
Amen.

Was noticed by the public!

I presume all the "real" rides must have been properly locked. Isn't Blue Flier just a case of switching on the lift, then everything else is manual levers? Would laugh if they didn't realise it had op-controled brakes and were stuck on it until the fuzz turned up. :p

Of all the coasters to choose, that must be the lamest... The Eddie Stobart trcuks are more exciting!
I can only guess it doesn't need a key to operate it?

Yeah I agree with Martin, this is comedy gold! That comment on Facebook had me in fits, especially the screams part!

But they had to ruin it by vandalising some stuff, hey should have just gone in got some creds and left!

Yeah I'm pretty sure it has one op-controlled brake in the station though, as opposed to on the train itself.

That is amazing. Only a community resolution order as punishment for getting half an hour straight on a coaster at 4 am? Still, would have picked a decent ride.

Bit worrying how it wasn't noticed for that long by security, especially if it was noticeable from outside the park. Would have thought that would be one of the main things security need to look out for at night. Also worrying that they managed to start the ride, im sure if you broke into towers and tried to get on nemesis (or any other rides) you wouldn't get out of the station.
