Daughter's First Visit!

My 2 year old daughter is finally over 0.9m tall so yesterday I took her for her first trip to Alton Towers. We have already been to DLP and Thomas Land so I knew she liked rides but there are a few rides at AT which she can get on which are much faster than any we have been on so far.

We started off in CBeebies to ease her into the rides, she loved the Octonaughts ride! After lunch in the Roller Coaster Restaurant and a Nitrogene we headed over to Mutiny Bay where we had a vomit free trip on Heave Ho. Feeling encouraged by her enjoyment so far I decided to risk Runaway Mine Train. I was a little nervous as she only turned 2 in June but is quite tall for her age and RMT is quite a bit faster than anything else we had been on. I had absolutely nothing to worry about, she loved it! I could hear her giggling all the way round, her hands were in the air going into the tunnel and she even managed a 'Choo Choo' as we passed through the station!

I dont think I have ever been so proud as when she shouted "Again!" as we clambered out of the seats. Now all I need is for her to grow a little so we can go on Nemesis together!

Did you not go on Enterprise. She would have loved that :)
