The Joker (Steve Eleky) is my least favourite part. It ruins the rythms of the show in my opinion. I personnaly don't find him funny, and he was part of at least 2 other shows in the past years with the exact same act. :p
Well, each to his own, but to be fair it is probably only funny the first couple of times you see it.

He had me in stitches and did very well to ensure that is act appealed to those that spoke different languages. The strong men never fail to amaze me though, and it's no wonder they can do what they do, we saw one of them eating a Club Sandwich one evening in St. Louis!

:)

You may have seen on the EuropaStreet Facebook page at the end of June that work was taking place on the former coach park by the main entrance. Well parkerlebnis.de are now reporting that this is for reserved/preferred parking.

There are 60 new spaces that can be reserved for €20; reservations can be made online. If you want to use this car park on the day and there are spaces available the cost will be €25.

Next up, fastrack....! ;)

:)

I don't mind preferred parking. Honestly I find it funny that people will pay a significant amount of money just to save a few minutes walking (if even that if you arrive early). I could understand if the people using it where disabled, but normally they get priority disabled parking for free anyway.

Fast pass however is selling something they don't strictly own; other people's time...
I respect Europa for still being the only major park to not offer it.

I beleieve that when we had the Q&A at new year, someone asked if the ticketing for the new flying whatsit was a trial for fastrack. The reply was along the lines of "If people aren't in a queue, they are clogging up the rest of the park, and we're full already.... so no, we have no plans to introduce fastrack."

Relax people. ;)

Indeed! I can see why EP are adding reserved parking; it's easy cash, does not have any impact on other guests and they are very keen on the whole VIP/hospitality thing. Fastrack is a totally different kettle of fish that they won't go near for many reasons.

:)

From the Europa Park Freunde Schweiz Facebook group (translated):

"News from the park
++++++++++++++++
On Wednesday 6.9.17, a number of questions from Facebook users were answered by the EP radio in conversation with Michael Mack.

This is what Michael Mack said to the future of the park:
- Zeittickets and single-Rider will be installed more in the future, even if it allows the space
- VR Pegasus will be abolished at the end of the season
- Eurosat conversion should not fundamentally change the feeling. There will be a new queue with similar layout.
- the universe of energy is redesigned and renewed
- family will still not give it
- new roller coaster from 2019 in planning, it's supposed to be the "awesome"
- new thematic area on the trust of matica terrain will not be excluded.

What do you mean? Write your opinion in the comments...

No reason to doubt its accuracy unless knows otherwise. Good to hear that Universe of Energy is getting a rethink.

Rode it a few weeks ago and tried to work out why I dislike it so much, even compared to cheap fare like Bench and Piccolo Mondo. Worked out that it's so dull because it has absolutely no narrative progression. The title and theme would imply that you'd like at dinos for a bit and then it'd take you through the process of fossil fuels ending up in a power station, but no. Just dinos for five minutes with no sense of pacing, story or conclusion.

I'd probably be tempted to start from scratch with a new idea (space themed like Sat...?), and one that can have Halloween 'horror' alterations designed in from the get-go.

So they've confirmed they are planning to build a new rollercoaster for 2019? I assume it'll be Mack - it there any Mack coaster type they don't have in Europa, or could it be a new prototype Mack? Will be interesting to see what happens, very intrigued.

Hmmm interesting. So assuming all is true we can probably expect to see a new themed area on the Traumatica site which will likely incude a new coaster. Said new coaster coming in 2019 would be very good news, and to be fair EP are due a new major coaster.

Got to admit I thought that Pegasus VR was meant to have been gone from the start of this season?

They are obviously pleased with how the timed tickets have worked on Voletarium if they want to roll this out more in the future. I am somewhat cautious about this, whether it be on new rides and/or existing rides. I personally do not feel that is requied across the park.

:)

Now PLEASE tell me that this will let us see a promo other than that slow mo family stuff that I'm sick of seeing every year

Could we be seeing a new Lindt chocolate shop at Europa-Park?

Looks like it to me, wonder if this will be as well of or in place of Milka.

:)
