They really should not bow down to the VIP pass holders, they have never operated fast track for the first few months of an SW and they shouldn’t start for folk who spend stupid amounts on beggar all.
It's hardly a stupid amount if you are obsessed with Alton.

Anyone who wants to spend stupid amounts of money is thier own business however it shouldn’t be at the expense of other fee paying customers, if I’ve paid to get in then I have the same rights as anyone else.
Fastrack and VIP are fine if the are managed and given a virtual place in the queue, queue jumping should not be allowed however much money you pay.

So you would rather it be unlimited Disney style fast pass?

I thought we were discussing fastrack access on Wickerman but if that’s not relevant?
It’s a little hard to discuss the ride experience as it’s not open yet and nobody has been on it.

Ok when do we expect main fastrack to be on sale and do we expect it to be a higher charged single shot.

I need to keep up with this thread from now on. The Andy Hine and advertising standards bits have had me in tears!

Is there going to be a pool for how long it takes for the fire effects to be switched off?

If only they had been separate threads, the titles write themselves...

On Andy Hine's influence: "How'd it get built? HOW'D IT GET BUILT?!!"

On false advertising: "Reporting me won't bring back your goddamn magic!"

On fast-track: "Not the fees! AARGH NOT THE FEES!!"

You mean you expect them to get turned on in the first place?

Im optimistic for this season... but after that only scarefest with the reasoning its more noticeable in the dark, plus a big bill from EDF.

Yeah but then you have to factor how much it cost to make, say each box cost £10 to make, that's only £12,000 in profits.

Which is £12,000 more than £0 on not doing these at all!

I'd imagine they'll be enough punters to sell 250 of these so not a bad idea. I shalln't be considering mind.

:)

I seem to remember one of the SW8 blocks of wood going for silly money on Ebay a couple of months back, so it shouldn't take too long to sell all of these when the word gets out, especially considering there are numbered/limited edition items included (such as the wooden block). You'd probably easily make your money back even if you bought one and decided you didn't want to keep it afterwards.
