Looks a decent pace to me, it was never going to be Wodans pace but it isn’t slow, also this is near the end of the ride (pass after that slow unbanked turn) plus whoever said the smoke from the photo shoot was not going to be on the ride, called that a bit early!

Looks absolutely stunning! So much for the effects being wasted in the daytime.
Impressed with the speed too, it definitely doesn't look slow to me.

Was going to download the vid and see if i could work out the speed in my Video editing software. Frames per second etc
Looks good, but i'm hoping for the drop to have effects to, not just this one trick (x3) pony of the wicker statue.

As soon as there is any way for you to be absolutely sure when it opens hotel stays for that date will shoot up in price.How sure are you? Like, 95%?

Alton Towers are 100% planning on opening Wicker Man on opening day. Something would have to go wrong for this to not happen, as could be the case for The Smiler, Nemesis or another other ride for that matter.

Looks to be moving slightly north of family thrill towards thrill... Let's hope so.

But can we please have some geeky stats Towers? Like height, speed, throughput, drop angle etc.
