Wicker Man - General Discussion - Part Two

With all the poor ride operations across the park they choose to spend time and effort on this. Unbelievable.

WTF! You can now take a lunch break from queuing in the queue line

Any idea where in the queue that is?

How are they going to let people exit the queue if it's by the F&B unit? They can't really have people going through the ride area and it would be a bit of a faff to make people walk all the way back through the queue. Surely they've built a new path?
They should also have a P-Pass, for those who had one too many beers at the Welcom-inn before joining the queue
Or maybe they could do what EP apparently did on Wodan and put toilets in the queue line itself!

It will be the brainchild of some excellence manager, the KPI screens have a question regarding the queue time and box for comments as well.

So it’ll be a pat on the back, we received negative feeedback and implemented a solution to combat it

I mean, a lunch pass is a nice idea, but I think that their way of implementing it is slightly strange.

And it will be abused, they can’t prove you’ve gone to eat unless they demand a receipt upon return but then what if you brought your own food in.

Agree it's strange to brand this as a lunch break, but this is fantastic as a queue break. I've had to exit The Smiler queue line (retracing ALL the way back past everyone) a couple of summers ago after waiting around 1-2 hours, getting almost to the indoor section and being overcome by nature's call.

Not quite as good as queue line loos (or a shorter single rider queue), but I'll take anything that helps the loo situation!

They could always require receipts

They've got the right idea IMO *but* I've no idea why they've based it on food breaks.

If they changed the sign to a toilet break that would be a very much welcome addition. I like to have a few beers in theme parks but this then leads to queue-bladder anxiety.

edit: sorry I see this has been covered
