A much better day

Oh lol no ive been around coaster forums for years and have heard that B&M are special coasters and I now know why. Nemmy and Galactica are good coasters to cut your inversion teeth on I would say. As for smiler. I will do it at some point to get the cred. But my 18 year old said it was rough and the idea of inversion after inversion after inversion Doesn't really interest me at all

For me i think The Smiler is smoother than Rita is. I've done it loads and not bashed my head once. Been on all four rows too. As others have said there's a couple of jolts towards the end, but it's not too bad really.

Going in to the cobra roll / batwing section (where the crash was) there's a big jolt on one of the transitions because it's so tight and the last corkscrews are a bit uncomfortable, but other than that Smiler is fairly smooth, my favourite bit is diving down from the lift hills to the batwing sections.

Rita is awful, so uncomfortable, whoever designed the first corner did not understand momentum physics, but not as bad as Castration, sorry Saw, at Thorpe.

I've only ridden Smiler once this year and it was still quite uncomfortable, has some of the vibration been addressed or is it pot luck in terms of train/car?

I'm not sure, my ride count is in double figures this year and i've not a rough one yet.

I enjoyed Rita but then perhaps I'm at the stage of coaster geekness that everything is thrilling lol

This is my point really so many inversions I know they all provide different experiences but smiler makes me feel sick just watching it.

I usually have a few goes on the front row of nemesis and one on the back.

It’s good anywhere you sit but the front row makes it 10 x better. The ground disappearing from below as you go into the first inversion is one of the best coaster moments in the world.
