They're encouraging you to take public transport as part of their commitment to the environmentIt’s Merlin though a price rise of some sort is guaranteed. Maybe they’ll add a quid on the car park.
Still least it won’t be as bad as Thorpe, £8 online, £10 on the day or £15 at the barrier. Easy to see where Thorpe make the money

At least it is realistic to get to Thorpe by public transport. Chessington even more as it’s a walk from a train station. The parking change at AT always felt less justified as it’s much harder to use public transport.

Exactly! I actually don't mind parking charges when public transport is available, because I want people to use it. But one bus per day, only in the summer, is not suffucientAt least it is realistic to get to Thorpe by public transport. Chessington even more as it’s a walk from a train station.
