Stargazing Pods

Nah! I just see them sticking some of them cheap plastic glow in the dark starts from Poundland to the ceiling :p
Or selling them for £1 each, so you can add your own star to your shed. And come back year after year and see how the constellations grow with each eager visitor.

Edit : now I'm wishing they'd given the outside of each shed a splattering of glow in the dark paint so at night each shed had little tiny glowing dots like stars. What is really crap is here are so many ways to make this project good.

I wouldn’t trust the public to arrange their own constellations, because if graffiti is anything to go by, most of them will be the same immature image.

Sorry if this has already been posted here before,

Are they going to get any visitors other then the crazy people (such as myself) who don't mind spending a night lapping the jubilee line end to end?

Will be interesting if they do the usual of inviting blogs etc to see these first.

Apart from spinning it as more choice and new, I fail to see how anyone can promote these and keep creditability.

Are Merlin the sort of company to allow content creators to have full editorial control or not?

If you don’t give a favourable review usually you find yourself not being invited to future things...
That’s why they skirt about the negative with positives like “sheds are in a fantastic location and right by the theme park”

Yes.

Any invite to stay will come with the stipulation of positive feedback... They're not interested in accurate feedback...
I'm honestly not sure if your joking or are aware of something.
Says a lot about Merlin really.

So basically then, you are not allowed to give a bad review. Merlin will passively aggressively filter out those that do. To ensure the majority of reviews are great. Sounds like the great Merlin propaganda machine to me, I think you can still have propaganda when there is not a political view? This fits the bill perfectly. Besides, this is some of Vick Narney's greatest work. We should all welcome and praise it with open arms......not.

Very true Diogo, newspapers do it as well, to change public mindsets. I just find it amusing that Merlin are employing propaganda tactics for the c̶o̶n̶c̶e̶n̶t̶r̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶c̶a̶m̶p̶ stargazing pods. Given the fact they look like, well, a concentration camp.

May as well not hold any press events for the additions this year if they don’t want the risk of negative publicity tbh
