Well I guess it depends on if the actual cause affected other things - if it was a power cut to a control box then that would explain why they didn't open it until fixed. Or they just didn't want to open it without the screens working. Plus, if the fault was in the Wicker Man structure itself then they'd have to close the ride for an engineer to go in it, so best to do it first thing rather than open it then close it later to fix the issue. It's a bit poor if the coaster itself opened late because of screens?

If it had been a power cut the screens would've been completely off.Well I guess it depends on if the actual cause affected other things - if it was a power cut to a control box then that would explain why they didn't open it until fixed. I'll let you know tomorrow, I'm going there for the day. Some screens went blue.... it’s not a big deal and I’m sure it will be fixed.
Mind you the blue would look good in the darkness of Scarefest!
Look like the dreaded Windows "blue screen of death"

lol oops. But if you install screens anywhere, theyre going to do this once or twice, it's no deal really. As long as it's fixed quickly and not left that way .

Wouldn't surprise me if they turned the screens blue or green and say "The Wickerman has been cursed! Ride this Scarefest, only the lucky will uncurse it"

The screens were on yesterday and the ride was running superbly. Running on 3 trains and consistently a train was joining the lift hill just as the train ahead was going round the final bend before the first brake run. Consequently, queues were no more than 15 mins and I managed 3 rides in just over an hour.
