Has anyone heard anything else regarding the construction in CCL recently, out of interest? If anyone's been recently or is going soon, I'd be intrigued to know how construction in the area is coming along!

I think there was a Merlin Magic Making van there at the start of August, as well as something being put up within the fencing?

Not expecting anything in CCL to be major construction. It looks like they are just re-fitting within the existing building.

No issue with that, they have lots of under utilised structures... but sceptical it will be anything more than a midway setup with some vinyls on the walls for theming. They seem happy to slap a bit of paint on for things that have a couple of years lifetime in that area.

I expect that we'll have a better idea of whatever this is by the time that Scarefest begins next month. The park traditionally market whatever's new for the next season.

At towers today, scaffold is going up on the buildings next to driving school. Could this be part of the re-theme?

Good to see them rolling out Th13teen's excellent theme to a new area.

Did not get a chance, saw it coming out of hex, il pop back over after a beer

Scrap the scaffold I saw, they must have been taking it down. Went back yesterday and nothing was there.
It’s been 7 years since I had been before the last couple of days. What I can say it looks incredibly sad that end of the park.
Alton really need to sort it out.

Surely if something as big as a Paddington area was coming we would have seen some advertising by now? They did with the dungeons around this time didn’t they?

Is it possible we will get no attraction next year but both SW9 and a Paddington area the year after ?
