Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere but Alton Towers is going to be featured on The Gadget Show tomorrow (Friday 25 October). The segment is about testing action cameras on a coaster. It's on Channel 5 at 7pm.

Well that will totally send the wrong message to the GP's*, will mean that we all will have to suffer more ride stoppage due to people thinking that they can use camera's on rides

Who remember TPWW Shaw and Harry using cameras on the rapids gate?

They'll probably make sure the presenters make it clear that camera equipment is not usually allowed on the rides. Still a bit of an irresponsible contradiction though. Potentially free advertising though so you can see why they've done it.

it’s like last year’s fireworks, they put all those injunction notices up and then do a story about how trespassing into the park is how you get to see the place come alive with magic.

But the free PR will be worth the one or two idiots who will do as they see on the show

You know what @RoyJess is like. Tbf he's not wrong either there generally is nothing good to say about towers. That is apart from the new multi lit path going towards X sector, now that is good. Better lighting than any of the coasters!

Just watched it on catch-up. They did not state at all that filming isn't usually allowed. Odd, I thought that would be Towers' main condition to them filming.
