I saw Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets on Channel 4 the other night (It’s still available on All 4).

I wondered which bits of the film are used for the VR parts, I can guess the first bit...

I haven’t been on it yet as my kids are not quite old enough.

Thought the film was good, it flopped at the box office though.

I haven't watched the film; it was a massive budget job but like many films that are not tied to existing franchises these days it flopped.
 
I watched the movie on DVD for the first time yesterday. Great visual effects, the film started off confusing and difficult to follow, but half way through, everything fell into place and made sense, it's one of those films that you will have to watch twice. It was a good film
