BPB managed to run all their dark ride, unless its really the touching the gun thing and they just have to enforce hand cleaning when people get off. Of you could turn the guns off and put them out of use.

As others have said Tomb Blaster at Chessington is running too, so I don't think its that. Duel really should be running.

But its really the only dark ride at AT, as about half of Hex is a walk-through.

Is this guy talking rubbish or is there some element of truth to it?

I've seen this quite a few times from a few different people now, have no idea if its true. My first instinct is no because Stealth doesn't have these "weights", does it? Not sure

I've no idea about Stealth. But doesn't Rita compensate for weight of the train anyway? Someone told me that the little bit of free movement seconds before launch is when it's "weighing" the train and adjusting the launch power accordingly.

I've no idea to be honest. I guess we just have to wait a while and see if Thirteen does end up re-opening in the net few weeks to see whether its true or not.

Rita trains don't need to be full, so no need for weights. I've seen them send trains with a handful of people on them (and obviously none at all during testing).

As for Thirteen, I'm sure there are/were some water dummies lying around the back of Dark Forest somewhere (possibly left over from Thirteen's commissioning) so can't see why they'd need to order more. I'm not expecting Thirteen to open anytime soon.

The only reason I can see dummies being ordered if is the ones on order are specially approved for use in guest operations.

I find Duel a bit strange what with Tomb Blaster being in operation at Chessington. Maybe they could get measures in place for it to re-open? Maybe only let so many people into the building until they've loaded and queue everyone else (when it has one) in the extended queue? I don't know how feasible it is, but just a thought.

It’s been 12 years since I been Chessington but don’t Tomb Blaster have different load, unload areas and the time it takes to dispatch each train should give staff plenty of time to clean everything down.

Can someone please tell me what rides single riders can't go on just so I'm prepared for next week
Officially there aren't any.
In practice it's a complete ban on spinball Whizzer and I'm assuming if they figure TH13TEEN out that as well.

Reports from people on park of people working in the Thirteen station, social distancing markings in place, and the park now saying they are working to have it available soon. Wonder how they’re going to make it work?
