Is unbranding a term?I for one welcome this re-re-branding.
I googled what the opposite of a re-branding was before posting... couldn't find anything unfortunately! Is unbranding a term?
Can’t stop refreshing the app... keep hoping The Smiler turns into the Black Hole...And the "un-branding" has been re-branded back to Galactica. That was a bit of Wednesday afternoon excitement wasn't it!
I'm guessing because before now it was a manager standing in that's why we got such dry responses.I reckon who ever is on Alton Towers social media today is drunk.
Much better than their usual responses. Let’s hope they stay that way.
What made you think the park being closed means people don't watch queue times? The one thing I enjoyed about an extended closed season and now that's gone up in smoke.
At least people weren't fapping over the queue time app every millisecond.

Now to be fair I have a reason for monitoring the queue times system when I'm not on park.Get. A. Life. (Wardley, J. 2012).
Out of interest has anyone been/seen or know of anyone that has been rejected entry due to the temperature check?
There's a seperate tent next to the monorail station with a bench, I assume that's the reset area. When we went to the gardens our temperature was taken and we asked what would happen if it was over the accepted level. We were told things like being in a car and walking can give a negative reading, so they would ask you to stand over wherever they wanted to let you and they'd try again in 10 minutes. They wouldn't just automatically tell you to go home.
I assume that is the same system in place now with the park is open.

People have assumed it's covid-19 related but if this was the start of the season it wouldn't seem odd for it to be down because it's just broke.I understand the reason for Thirteen being closed (well I understand it as to why it can't open, I just don't understand the system) but what was the reason for Rita being closed? Was there something not ready, or was it to do with COVID-19 procedures?
