[2024] Voltron Nevera | Mack Stryker Coaster

Yep, that is Roland's garden.

And is not already well known that the new coaster will be part of a new European country themed area behind Greece? Land currently being used for behind the scenes/storage stuff, Traumatica mazes and Immer Wieder Sonntag's venue - all of which presumably will be relocated or restructured into the new area.
They've definitely confirmed nothing will be removed to make way for this project (see Michael and Thomas Mack Interview Rob linked on the previous page of this thread).

Yes, that is where I presume the next coaster will go. I can't imagine a coaster in the English area, certainly not a larger family thrill coaster. It would would not work in my opinion.

I can either imagine a custom Mack Big dipper - which would complement the parks other coasters and be the parks second coaster to have an inversion - perhaps heavily themed to a European legend similar to Fluch Von Novgorod!

Or - some sort of suspended/inverted coaster - maybe Mack will experiment with a suspended coaster model - this type of coaster could 'fly' through various sections and countries! again it would be a coaster type the park hasn't got!

In terms of countries - I would like to see the Czech republic represented, this is because the country is steeped in dark folk-lore, ghost stories and tales of alchemy - which would inspire some great themes!

When was the last time EP installed a Mack coaster that wasn’t a prototype? Rarely, if ever, which kind of rules out a Big Dipper if history is anything to go by.

Of course it’s a bit more difficult to predict what the new coaster will be if it’s a prototype. Perhaps it could be a non-Mack ride. A milder RMC?

The next coaster will be a Mack coaster. See the posting from CSLKenny (one side back) where Michael Mack said:
He says the coaster will use the newest technologies and be mixture of various ride types - it will be unlike anything that currently exists.

The interviewer then mentions Time Traveller and Michael Mack says "it will be mix of Time Traveller, of turntables ... a mix of a lot of things to make one unique coaster. And a couple km of track".

Sounds nice and long, but this mention of "turntables" just makes me think of Reaper. And we all know how that turned out.

I think this coaster is still a little while off, but in an interview with Blooloop for his 70th birthday, Roland did say the following about how he would like an Xtreme Spinning Coaster like Time Travellers at Europa-Park:

“There is a lot of ride capacity in the park, but we also have a lot of guests. Some days we have over 40,000 people, so there is still room for two, three or four big capacity makers in the future.

“One ride I think would be a really perfect fit for us is the Time Traveler [Xtreme Spinning Coaster], which we sold to Silver Dollar City. It’s a fast ride, but I think it’s still a family ride. It has wonderful cars and a perfect track layout. In general, I would really like to have a ride like this in our park, but the waterpark was a big investment.”

The article as a whole is well worth a read!

So, a Time Traveler ride vehicle has turned up at EP:

You would expect the Mack Bank Preview Centre to be updated this year seeing as it is currently showing the new for 2020 additions (parade and Pirates). Could this be where the Time Traveler car is heading?

EDIT:

Turns out it was just at EP for an event. Oh well!

So it may be a Mack Big Dipper or a Mack Xtreme Spinner. The question is, where will it go or will it set up a new themed land like ARTHUR and Ba-a-a Express did?!

A Big Dipper definitely not coming in my opinion. Low capacity. Designed for smaller parks really.

Xtreme Spinner a potential.

Literally a few posts up. New Eastern European themed country area beside Greece and Russia. My bet is on Romania.
I actually mentioned Romania as a possibility for a new land at EP to @BigAl at least five years ago now. It makes perfect sense to have a new land based on a country from Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Romania could work quite nicely, though I'm a bit concerned they'd go too hard on a Transylvania-esque theme, which seems a tad too clichéd. I wouldn't be averse to an area based on Turkey or Poland appearing at the park, either.
