What Coaster Just Needs To GO!!!

There are many controversial coasters out there some that are good, brilliant, meh or absolutely terrible but there are some coasters that people just say END NOW or just never want to see operate again. You can be controversial as you like with this one so i'm going to put my opinions here:
. Ninja - Six Flags St Louis
. Anaconda - Kings Dominion
. Hero (or Volares in general)
. Every single SLC apart from the Shenlin models
. (This one might be a bit controversial but) Spinball Whizzer (but i wouldn't mind to see it relocated)

I wouldn't say there are any.

Worst case, a bad coaster is sucking crowds away from other more worthwhile attractions at a park.

Sure I'd like to see Hero, Infusion, Colossus, Furious Baco etc replaced by a better, less painful coaster. But tearing these rides down for the sake of it I don't really see much point in.

I would like to personally take a bulldozer to Hades 360 for what it did to my spine.

To respond to each of the opening suggestions:
  • The only thing I remember about SFSL Ninja is thinking the chain return was going to decapitate me on the exit of the sidewinder.
  • KD Anaconda is an absolute snooze-fest. A travesty that it's still around whilst the far more interesting Vortex at KI has been torn down.
  • Agreed re: Volare
  • The Shenlin layout is weaker than the standard layout. Fight me (please don't fight me). Kumali may not be particularly rough, but it's too short and not very interesting after the first drop.
  • Spinball is chronically underrated. I disagree with almost all the of the criticism people throw at it: it's fun, it doesn't spoil the view of the towers and the throughput is absolutely fine.

Bandit at Movie Park. It ruined me, so it deserves a most painful death.

Anything like Infusion with brick restraints. I'd like to ride one with proper trains (and no I'm certainly not on about the ones with KumbaK trains) before saying they all need to be condemned though.

Me and @John quite liked Bandit lol

The worst coaster I've ever been on was 'Roller Coaster' (maybe now called something else?) in Las Vegas. In a hotel themed like New York. Somehow horrific and tedious at the same time.

Naga Bay/Dizz at Bobbejaanland. One of the newer Maurer spinners but is simply too well-refined to serve its purpose. I know I mention it a lot (maybe outside of the forum but still within the TS community), but it really is pants.

Of course, I'm not one to suggest any coaster should go unless it'd be replaced with something better, after all, it might be someone's bag.

You're referring to the notorious Big Apple Coaster or the Manhattan Express built by Togo in 1997! Yup I can see why uve put it on here the profiling just says it all :p

I’d echo Burbs with Naga Bay/Dizz. An utter waste of steel and concrete that seems to manage to fail at both the “spinning” and “coaster” parts of its remit.

Another I would shed no tears over of El Condor at Walibi Holland.

I echo this. A terrible, terrible coaster in an even more terrible park. Send in those bulldozers!

intriguing to hear this about Hades 360, I haven’t ridden myself but have always watched POV’s with high expectations for when I do eventually ride. Is it really that rough? I’ve seen some decent reviews for it recently is all. Might have to drop it off my list of woodies.

Yes, it is a back breaker. We only rode it once because of how rough it was (well that and the awful operations). I've tried my best to forget eactly how it feels to ride it but it essentially slams you down in to the track. The trains do not help either, I'm really not a fan of the restraints.

I only been on 1 water coaster Journey to Atlantis at Sea World back in 2007 and it really surprised me as I hadn’t seen any on ride videos of the ride. I had no clue it was a dark/water/coaster ride in 1. After the big drop I thought it was gonna go down another drop or back into the building but really surprised us with the speed the coaster was.

I really want Drayton Manor to get rid of the stand up coaster trains and op for sit down trains instead.

Only rides that I find truly objectionable would I wish to see gone.

I found Hades 360 at Mount Olympus horrendous. As I did Screamin' Eagle at Six Flags St. Louis. Furius Baco isn't far off.

:)

I've heard that loads of people in America hate T3 at Kentucky Kingdom because of the restraints and it being such a shaky coaster. This is from what i've heard so has anyone ridden T3 here?

I forgot about T3. Indeed, T3 has a dire reputation. I thought it was absolutely terrible. As bad as El Condor - and that is saying something. The trains were badly engineered and shuffled round even more so than the Vekoma ones.

That said, @Danny visited the park the year after us and were quite positive about it.

Yeah I thought the Kumbak trains on T3 were dreadful. The new-gen trains on Mayan at Energylandia are fine though, I nearly opted for a re-ride towards the end of the day rather than marathoning Hyperion (which I was disappointed by) but they'd gone down to 1 train and it had built up a queue so I didn't bother.
