Which park do you plan to visit first once lockdown ends?

We all know that Covid wrecked theme park trip plans left, right and centre last year, so where do you plan to go first when lockdown (hopefully) ends later this year?

I was supposed to go to Blackpool for a few days last year, to visit the Pleasure Beach again and also do other attractions for the first time. Obviously that didn't happen, so I pushed it back to this year. However, now that Valhalla's reopening has been pushed back to next year, I'm thinking of pushing my Blackpool trip a further year back to 2022 and going to Thorpe Park for a couple of days this year instead, staying in the Thorpe Shark Cabins. This would be only my second visit in eight years! (And my first staying in the TSC) Long overdue. Obviously that will only happen if overnight stays are allowed outside of your local area, so we'll wait and see.

Once lockdown is over I will probably go to Thorpe Park first because it is my nearest park with thrill rides. The challenge is finding a date where the park won't be too busy as my last visit was horrible.

I have a visit to Alton Towers planned for the end of March so it will depend if the restrictions allow me to go. If not then it will probably end up being Chessington which is my most local park.

Depends when it ends. If earlyish on it'll be Mingo or Towers, got a trip planed in June that'd make it WMSP, or July it'd be Drayton Manor. Long lockdown? Probably Steinwasen Park.

Yeah same here. I'm hoping I'll be able to go in the Summer to make Tidal Wave viable. :p
Would maximize the chance of TWDTR being back open as well. Highly doubt DBGT will reopen though unfortunately. I'd hope to go on relatively quiet days too as I haven't been for so long and didn't do any of the big coasters on my last visit. I live three hours away as well.

I'm hoping to get a trip to Copenhagen in August, so it will be Tivoli Gardens I expect.

We have flights to Orlando booked for September but not sure if that trip will happen or not.

Probably a couple trips to towers and drayton when they open as it’s very close for me, but first new park’s will be plopsaland and Walibi Belgium, will likely go back to Energylandia for the abyssus opening too. Obviously all up in the air still right now though.

More than likely it would be Blackpool pleasure beach as I have to travel to Blackpool ASAP when restrictions are eased to check out my wedding venue.

Well I go to Drayton Manor as it’s only a 20 min drive away and my pass has been extended to the end of September but could be October as they not been able to open this Feb half term and the Thomas and Friends weekends.
Will go to Alton Towers if the sun tickets are available this year and maybe to Blackpool in September

Will walk down to Adventure Island after work for my local Rage and Time Machine fix on the first day I can.

Tentatively have Paultons pencilled in for late March, not sure about that happening but will get down there soon after it's allowed.

If Blackpool is open late summer I think a few days up there would be a nice little break, I've written off the prospect of foreign travel this year.

My first park will probably be one of the 4 Merlin parks; probably Alton Towers, but I wouldn’t like to be too sure. Hoping to get as much use out of my Premium MAP as I can before it runs out in August (I think it runs out in August, anyway...).

Just remember that Valhalla is opening next year now. I was planning to go to Blackpool for a few days this year (after not being able to do so last year) but I've pushed that trip back a year because of Valhalla. Only ridden it once so I'll wait to ride it again. (was closed on my last visit in 2019 :()

Hopefully for me it will be Alton Towers or Blackpool, subject to us getting the vaccine and what themeparks have survives the covid crisis.

Got to be Towers, didn't do Thorpe last year- not the nicest place during a normal year, let alone during a pandemic...

Or Schwaben Park. Hummel Brummel is better than Steel Vengeance and nothing can change my mind.

Will more then likely be Towers with it being my closest park. However if for some reason other parks open up first then I may well visit them.

I’ll like to get to Thorpe, Blackpool and Chessie a bit more this year as well, as I only did those parks once (and Chessie was winter and Blackpool Feb).
