Twilight Pass

Got a Twilight Pass booked for this Sunday. Very much looking forward to being back in the park, haven't been in nearly three years now!

My pass is valid from 4pm but wondering what time I should arrive at the turnstiles? If I get there at 3.30 will that be waay too early, or is that a good time to get to the front of the queue? Wondering as well if there's any chance they might actually let people in slightly early. Any thoughts?

I don’t imagine there will be much of a queue to enter at 4pm, the twilight passes aren’t massively advertised so I suspect they aren’t used by that many guests who will all be stood ready to enter.

I would say get arrived and parked in good time, arriving later in the day will probably mean you are parked quite far away from
the entrance. So it might be quite a walk to the turnstiles.

Any updates on your visit? Did you get let in early? How much did you pay? Was it worth it?

Pretty good actually, on reflection I think that 4-8pm slot on the Sunday was probably the best time to be in the park over the BH weekend. Managed to get in Oblivion, Duel (walk-on), RMT, Nemesis, Funk n' Fly and Wickerman in the end. Wasn't really expecting to do the full roster but it was a shame we missed out on Smiler at the end of the day - WM was down to two trains so queued a lot longer than advertised and came out five minutes after closing! Still it was a lovely evening to be in the park and the atmosphere was great, really hope they learn from this and make late summer evenings the norm, even if just at weekends. The twilight pass worked out well for me - though £25 is perhaps 20% more expensive than it should be - however it's probably only worth it if you're local or visiting the area anyway, as I was. Hoping to do a full day trip next month and tick off the things I missed!
