With the potential of all covid restrictions lifting on July the 19th which appear to be very controversial.

Will you still be wearing a face Mask beyond this date?
 
For the most part, but will be pragmatic. In shops and wandering around the pub, I'll continue wearing one for a while.

Today my train home is 30 mins + delayed, so I'm standing in what is effectively an outdoor area on the platform, with a mask on with no one within 20ft of me. If I didn't "have" to wear one, I probably wouldn't. Likewise, if I am sat in a train carriage with 3 other people and I don't need to wear a mask, I likely wouldn't.

Should add another option for those who are exempt.
 
Yes as my employer, like many others, is likely to make it mandatory after that date anyway. Similar to Rick, in enclosed public spaces yes. In silly locations where it's open and ventilated like Cabot Circus in Bristol where it's currently mandatory because it's partially covered then no.

I can't speak with one on :)
But I'm prefeering to default to AAC most of the time anyway, so it's just eaiser to explain it by mentioning masks then the full long winded explaination
 
As I work with all age groups it be September by the time they all had the 2nd vaccine and 1 tested positive last week but we wearing masks when not by our work area and still taking everyone temperature.
 
I won't be "burning" mine, I'm quite happy to keep it with me and put it on wherever the venue I visit expresses a preference for this (to protect staff etc).

But I won't be wearing a mask anymore unless asked to, regardless of crowd levels etc.
 
Yes I will still be wearing one in shops and other indoor places, especially where there is poor ventillation.

Similar but after a couple of weeks I probably won't carry one any more either. If somewhere wants me to wear one they can give me one on the door, like some shops did last Summer before it was made mandatory.

What if they refuse to give you one and refuse to allow admission? Or charge for one?
 
I’ll only wear one if I have a cold or something - it’ll help hide how gross I feel!

Otherwise, I won’t be wearing one at all come ‘freedom day’. It should remain a personal choice. I support people putting them on should they wish, so long as they understand my preference not to do so.

I suspect a lot of businesses will still be demanding it. I can't see shops relenting on current policies simply because I think, whether it's right or wrong, many people feel more secure if everyone is wearing a mask and the need to protect their staff. I'd happily throw my masks in the bin, I despise them with a passion, but I'll wear it out of respect for everyone else.

I expect many businesses will face a hard time however. Mask enforcement has been relatively easy as businesses know they have the law on their side at the moment. This won't be the case in a couple of weeks so I'm bracing myself for an onslaught of abuse.
 
Probably worth bearing in mind that mask wearing is likely to remain a legal requirement in the rest of the United Kingdom, the July 19th relaxations only apply to England.

Good point, I wonder how cross border travel will work.... "Right were approaching the Scottish border masks on" / "we are now arriving in England, remove masks!"
