I think it can be a good think to change the music seasonally in the central area of the park, so Towers St and maybe Fountain Square if there is activity happening there. But I get why some people don't like it too as they have a connection to the previous music.

It’s baffling to me why you’d use resources to make something worse. Someone has actively made the decision to alter the music and someone must have approved it. It makes you question whether the correct decision makers are in place if this type of thing is how the resort is using its resources.

And I’m not sure that people’s complaint is entirely focused on having a connection to the previous soundtrack, it’s also that this music is amateurish and just doesn’t fit.

What I like about the music currently playing around the park is that it feels very much like Gardaland’s entrance music! Maybe it just brings back great memories for me, but I thought it was really good music (not for forever though… Edvard Grieg would be most disappointed otherwise!).

I think it is good that Alton Towers are temporarily shaking it up a bit

The difference being Gardaland music is about the park itself rather than just summer generally (from someone who is a big fan of the way Gardaland uses music throughout the park). I just don't think this new song really works as the entrance music for a park like Alton, although saying that, it probably could just about work for Fountain Square or the stage area as the main "festival" hub for Summer.

Great points! Plus Gardaland’s music is all like “GARDALAAAAAAAND”… “Alton Towers” isn’t a simple/catchy enough name to make a song like that haha!
