Legoland Windsor

A new coaster would be the logical step for rounding out the ride line-up. Back when the Jungle Coaster closed I was disappointed that it was never replaced, but on reflection a new coaster wasn't actually what the park needed at that time. It needed indoor, all weather attractions for all ages. But now they have plenty of these it does feel like the right time to consider a new coaster. They don't have anything especially dynamic as the Dragon is far bulkier and comparatively sluggish to its modern counterparts. (Not that I think that's an issue, I love the old Dragon).

Does anyone know how much room is available to the left of the dragon by cheetah hill?

The problem with the area where Extreme team is the fact that St Leonard's Mansion is just above it and the area is fairly close to houses.

Statement from the park:

A Legoland spokesman told the Daily Star: At 15.35 hrs today, there was a small fire outside the LEGOLAND hotel.
The fire was isolated to the front exterior of the hotel only.
Our well-rehearsed emergency procedures were immediately implemented and the emergency services were called and attended the site.
The Hotel was immediately evacuated and all guests and staff are safe and well.
The health and safety of our guests is our top priority and the hotel is currently closed whilst the fire brigade’s investigation takes place.

Hotel guests are being refunded or offered alternative accommodation. Guests have been given extra time to enjoy a selection of rides in the theme park this evening, which remains open for business as usual.

Might still be a little lower capacity than the park needs, but is probably going to be one of the highest capacity rides at LLW.
Should be a good fit for the park and building on the hill makes sense.

How sure are we that the manufacture is Vekoma? I'm just not sure it will be. Merlin haven't ever build a coaster from Vekoma, the Lego division seem to like buying from Mack. It could be a bulk deal with Exodus. It could also be from Gerst. There's plenty of options.
