I'm glad there's some visible progress, not so much for the ride but more for my sanity reading this topic 😂.

Nice bit of marketing though, costs next to nothing but incredibly effective. Glad there's finally something more substantial up around there as well, especially with the increase in visitors for Scarefest.

With the picture of the now boarded up facade, I really hope they're just there there stop guests from walking up there. Please keep the Facade AT.

I would be surprised if the facade changes much apart from a good clean and repaint. The fencing simply serves to show that something is happening and to draw up some interest. With the increased footfall over Scarefest guests will catch this while walking past and may be curious as to what's happening, spread the word, and return to the park in 2023. Simple and effective marketing.

Wow, all happening at once. Also, whoever at Merlin thought of using the phone number which is a little bit of slow burn hype has clearly got a long term plan go build the hype which is honestly very clever IMO.

Will be interesting to see what more fun shenanigans will happen they'll come up with for promotion.

Just a reminder that its only 1 month after the ride shut, now 1 month before end of season, and we have the whole closed season to go. Fans seemed to have decided the promo for this was bad before it had even begun. This is still early days

Just had a closer look at the scrapped walls outside behind the ride, I think they're from the Zombie final because of the plug sockets and the overabundsnce of holes and Target lights still hooked in and hanging out, and the given fact of the wall paint texture is the same as well, along with them actually being made of Wood as we can see here on Duels construction back in late 2002:
